Dear Fellow Disney Fan,

​

We have a feeling we already have something in common. Maybe it's the way you feel when you walk down Main Street. Maybe it's a favorite song from an attraction, a smell that instantly takes you back to a childhood vacation, or a memory that still makes you smile decades later. Or maybe, like us, you've realized that Disney has a funny way of becoming part of who you are.

For us, it started a long time ago. There were childhood trips, family adventures, plenty of laughter, and that wonderful feeling that anything was possible. There were moments of complete awe, discoveries around every corner, and memories that somehow became more precious with time. And while the parks have changed over the years, that feeling never really has.

​

There's something about Disney that brings out a version of ourselves we absolutely love. We're a little more carefree, a little more curious, and perhaps a little more willing to wear ridiculous things on our heads. We've heard people say, "I miss who I am when I'm in the parks." We understand that completely. But here's what we've come to believe: That version of ourselves doesn't have to stay behind when the vacation ends.

And that's where Mouse + Park comes in.

​

The idea for this magazine has been tucked away in our hearts for years. We wanted to create something that celebrates not just the places we love, but everything that makes being a Disney fan so special. The stories behind the attractions. The people who create the magic. The history, the hidden details, the food, the fashion, the creativity, and the traditions we carry into our everyday lives. Because Disney is so much more than a destination. It's a collection of memories, experiences, friendships, and little moments of joy that stay with us. And we think those things deserve to be celebrated.

We've been friends since eighth grade, which means we've shared a whole lot of life, laughter, and dreams along the way. Once upon a time, we even imagined growing up and living next door to each other. Life had other plans, as it often does, but somehow we've found ourselves building something together that feels just as wonderful. A magazine. Our magazine. And hopefully, one that will feel a little bit like yours, too.

Mouse + Park is our love letter to the Disney community. It's a place for beautiful stories, interesting discoveries, fresh inspiration, a healthy dose of nostalgia, and the occasional spirited debate. Because we can love Disney wholeheartedly and still have very strong opinions about which attraction soundtrack is the best.

​

We want these pages to make you smile. To teach you something you didn't know. To inspire you to try something new. To remind you of a favorite memory or help you create a new one. Most of all, we want Mouse + Park to be something you look forward to. A little escape from the everyday. A reminder that joy is worth making room for, no matter how old we get.

We're so excited to share this adventure with you, and even more excited to see where it takes us. Thank you for being here at the very beginning. After all, the best stories are the ones we get to share.
