Gingerbread beignets, reindeer cakes, and enough holiday treats to make the Nice List a distant memory. Here's what's coming to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party in 2026.

It's the most wonderful time of the year.

The decorations are going up, the holiday music is getting ready to take over Main Street, U.S.A., and somewhere inside Magic Kingdom, someone has decided that gingerbread cheesecake belongs inside a beignet.

We would like to thank that person personally.

Disney has officially unveiled its 2026 food and beverage lineup for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, and this year's menu is looking delightfully festive.

There are new desserts, returning favorites, savory holiday creations, and enough whipped cream to make us seriously reconsider the concept of eating a sensible dinner.

And while some people attend Mickey's Christmas Party for the parade, fireworks, and snowfall on Main Street, we're not above admitting that the snacks are a pretty compelling supporting cast.

Let's unwrap this year's menu, shall we?

Gingerbread Cheesecake Beignets. We'll Just Leave That Here.

Every holiday food lineup needs a showstopper, and this year we're particularly intrigued by the new Gingerbread Cheesecake Beignets.

Because apparently regular beignets weren't festive enough.

Disney has combined two of the holiday season's greatest culinary achievements—gingerbread and cheesecake—and wrapped them in a dessert that already had absolutely nothing to prove.

The result sounds like the sort of thing that should come with a warning label reading: May cause spontaneous Christmas caroling.

We're especially excited about this one because gingerbread is such a quintessential holiday flavor. Add cheesecake to the equation, and suddenly we're feeling very forgiving about the fact that our jeans have a waistband.

This is definitely going on our must-try list.

Pluto Has Become a Reindeer. Naturally, There's Cake.

Among the new desserts is the Pluto Reindeer Cake, which may win the award for the most adorable holiday treat on the menu.

Disney has taken everyone's favorite loyal pup, given him a little Christmas makeover, and turned him into dessert.

We're not entirely sure how Pluto feels about this arrangement, but we suspect he'd be enthusiastic if someone offered him a bite.

This is exactly the kind of whimsical Disney food we love. It's festive, character-inspired, and probably going to inspire a small photo shoot before anyone actually picks up a fork.

Because if you're eating a Pluto cake at a Disney Christmas party and don't take at least six pictures of it, did it even happen?

The Very Merry Mickey Sundae Has Entered the Chat

Speaking of desserts that are practically begging for their own Instagram moment, Disney is introducing the Very Merry Mickey Sundae.

A Mickey-themed sundae at Mickey's Christmas party?

Groundbreaking.

And by groundbreaking, we mean we're absolutely going to want one.

There's something wonderfully nostalgic about Disney's character-inspired desserts. They're playful, festive, and make you feel like a kid again.

Plus, Mickey is hosting the party. It seems only polite to order his sundae.

We're nothing if not considerate guests.

Christmas Dinner, But Make It Theme Park Food

Now, before we completely lose ourselves in a sea of sugar, let's discuss something savory.

One of the new offerings is the Tostada de Nochebuena, featuring smoked pork and festive flavors inspired by Christmas Eve traditions.

We love seeing Disney include dishes that reflect different holiday food traditions. Christmas food doesn't have to mean turkey, stuffing, and cranberry sauce every time, and this is a welcome addition to the lineup.

It's also a reminder that Magic Kingdom's holiday menus can offer more than desserts shaped like famous mice.

Although, to be clear, we fully support desserts shaped like famous mice.

For guests craving something more traditionally comforting, the Holiday Pot Roast Melt is returning.

And honestly, doesn't that sound like the perfect thing to eat on a chilly evening in Magic Kingdom?

Tender pot roast, warm bread, and cozy holiday flavors while Christmas music plays in the background.

Of course, this is Florida, so there's an equally good chance you'll be eating it in 82-degree weather while wearing a Christmas sweatshirt you deeply regret bringing.

But the spirit is there.

The Nice List Shake Is Back

Santa may be checking his list twice, but we have a feeling he's not checking the nutritional information.

The Nice List Shake is returning for another holiday season, and we're delighted to see it back.

Disney's holiday shakes tend to lean enthusiastically into the idea that more is more.

More sweetness. More festive decorations. More opportunities to wonder whether a milkshake can technically qualify as an entire meal.

We say yes.

And if you're planning to enjoy one while watching holiday entertainment, that's practically a Christmas tradition.

At least it is now.

Free Cookies Are Still Part of the Magic

Of course, we can't talk about Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party without mentioning one of its most beloved traditions: complimentary holiday cookies and beverages.

Throughout the event, guests can stop at designated treat locations to enjoy festive cookies and drinks included with their party admission.

And we have to admit, there's something charming about wandering through Magic Kingdom with a cookie in one hand while listening to Christmas music.

It's simple. It's nostalgic. It's wonderfully Disney.

It's also an excellent excuse to eat a cookie even though you've already had two desserts.

The cookies are included.

It would be rude not to.

Don't Forget There's an Actual Christmas Party Happening

With all this food talk, we should probably acknowledge that Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is about more than eating your way through Magic Kingdom.

The separately ticketed celebration returns on select nights November 8 through December 22, 2026, bringing back some of Disney World's most beloved holiday entertainment.

Guests can look forward to Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, festive character appearances, holiday music, and that magical snowfall along Main Street, U.S.A.

And there's something about Magic Kingdom at Christmas that never gets old.

Maybe it's Cinderella Castle glowing in the distance. Maybe it's the holiday music drifting through the park. Maybe it's seeing Main Street dressed up in wreaths, garlands, and twinkling lights.

Or maybe it's the fact that you can eat a gingerbread dessert while watching toy soldiers march down the street.

We're willing to consider all possibilities.

The Mouse + Park Must-Try List

We haven't tasted this year's new offerings yet, so these aren't official reviews. But based on Disney's newly announced menu, here are the five treats we'd be making room for.

1. Gingerbread Cheesecake Beignets

Because someone had the audacity to combine gingerbread, cheesecake, and beignets, and we feel morally obligated to investigate.

2. Pluto Reindeer Cake

It's Pluto. He's a reindeer. He's cake. Honestly, what more do you need?

3. Tostada de Nochebuena

A festive savory option that sounds like a welcome break from the sugar marathon.

4. Very Merry Mickey Sundae

Because you can't attend Mickey's Christmas party and ignore Mickey's dessert. That's just poor manners.

5. Holiday Pot Roast Melt

Warm, comforting, and exactly what we want when we're pretending Florida has proper winter weather.

And yes, we'll probably grab a complimentary cookie somewhere along the way.

For research purposes.

A Very Merry Kind of Magic

There's a reason Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party has become such a beloved holiday tradition.

It's not just the parade, the fireworks, or the decorations. It's the feeling of being surrounded by Christmas magic in a place that already specializes in making people feel like kids again.

The food is simply another part of that experience.

Some treats will become new favorites. Others will inspire debates about whether they were worth the calories, the price, or the inevitable powdered sugar on your shirt.

And that's part of the fun.

So bring your Christmas spirit, wear your most festive outfit, and perhaps consider pants with a little stretch.

Because Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is serving up holiday cheer, and apparently Santa has decided that calories don't count at Magic Kingdom.

Frankly, we think he's onto something.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party takes place on select nights November 8–December 22, 2026, at Magic Kingdom. A separate event ticket is required. Food and beverage offerings, locations, and availability are subject to change.
