Goodbye, Baggage Claim? Disney Just Made Arrival Day Easier at Three More Resorts.

Less luggage juggling, more vacation. Walt Disney World is expanding a service that could make your next arrival at the Most Magical Place on Earth a whole lot easier.

There's a special kind of excitement that comes with landing at Orlando International Airport.

You're officially on vacation, Disney World is just down the road, and your biggest decision should be whether to head straight to the parks or find a Mickey-shaped snack.

Unfortunately, there's usually one small obstacle standing between you and the magic.

Baggage claim.

But Disney is making that part of arrival day a little easier.

Three More Resorts Join the List

Walt Disney World has expanded its airport luggage transfer service to three additional resorts:

  • Disney's Coronado Springs Resort, including Gran Destino Tower

  • Disney's Port Orleans Resort – French Quarter

  • Disney's Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

With these additions, the service is now available at nine Disney resort hotels, including all of Disney's Value and Moderate resorts.

And here's the best part: the luggage transfer service itself is complimentary for eligible guests.

So, How Does It Work?

Guests flying into Orlando International Airport on participating domestic flights with American Airlines, JetBlue, Southwest, or United can arrange to have their checked luggage delivered directly to their participating Disney resort.

That means no waiting around the baggage carousel, no wrestling oversized suitcases onto transportation, and no wondering why you packed seven pairs of shoes for a four-day vacation.

You'll need to register for the service in advance, and regular airline baggage fees still apply.

It's also important to know that this isn't complimentary airport transportation. You'll still need to arrange your own ride to Walt Disney World.

And a little Mouse + Park advice: keep your MagicBands, medications, valuables, and anything you'll need immediately in your carry-on. Your checked bags may arrive at the resort later than you do.

More Magic, Less Luggage

Arrival day at Disney World should be exciting, not an Olympic event involving suitcases and airport escalators.

While this service won't eliminate every travel-day headache, it could make that first day feel a little more like vacation and a little less like work.

And if it means getting to our first Mickey pretzel sooner?

We're listening.
